Surprisingly, although there are numerous job listings, unemployment remains a challenge, especially when the economy is down. Another main challenge is the high cost of living. Rent for a small apartment in a decent area is expensive, and daily essentials like food and transportation add to the problem. Destruction of Ruins by Acid Rain

Acid rain is a big problem in industrial countries, . Gases like sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxide from factories and cars mix with rain, which turns it into harmful acid. This acid rain not only damages trees and rivers but also destroys buildings made of soft stones like limestone.

The issue isn't just in Europe. In Mexico, acid rain is damaging ancient Mayan ruins, like those at Chichen Itza and Palenque. These limestone structures, built between 250 BC and AD 900, are wearing away quickly. Some stones have turned black, and paint inside temples is peeling off.

The acid rain is caused , and local volcanic eruptions have made it even worse. Scientists say that with enough money, this damage can be slowed down. However, the Mexican government cannot afford the necessary repairs due to economic struggles. Without enough funds, it will be difficult to save these historic ruins from further destruction.
