In 2020, our village was affected severely by a flood from a nearby mountainous area. Our school organized a project to provide support and assistance to the affected people.

First, we conducted a clean-up activity where volunteers collected garbage from the flooded areas. We also developed a community service program. Volunteers visited nursing homes and orphanages to offer assistance and companionship to the elderly and children. To help the homeless individuals, we organized donation drives to collect essential items like clothes, food, and blankets. Furthermore, we established a tutoring program where older students volunteered their time to tutor younger students affected by the flood. This provided academic support and helped them continue their education during challenging times.

The community activities project made us proud to be part of a school that values giving back. We improved many soft skills and learned about empathy and compassion.
