Read the following passage and choose the correct answer to each of the questions.
Beijing, known for its rapid development, is often described as a concrete jungle with very high skyscrapers and buildings. It is a bustling and liveable city for many people. Beijing has an extensive transportation system. The metro, underground, tram and sky train make it easy to get around the city even during rush hour. It is much less congested than before. There are excellent schools, hospitals, and public amenities like parks and sports facilities. You can easily find somewhere to hang out with friends at weekend.
However, Beijing government has to process many problems now. Beijing produces a lot of waste every day. This includes leftover food, plastic, paper, and other materials. From 2010 to 2019, municipal solid waste (MSW) in Beijing rose from 6.35 million tons per year to 10.11 million tons, averaging 27,700 tons per day, which is 1.2 kg per person per day. Downtown Beijing still has many construction sites so some people may feel itchy from the dust. It can be hard to keep good hygiene in such a busy place. People go to Beijing to look for a better future. But sometimes because of the pricey living cost and these pollution problems, they give up living here.
