Đề bài: The table below shows daily oil production in 4 countries from 2000 to 2004.
The table gives information on quotidian oil production in four countries from 2000 to 2004. As a general trend, the Congo was the leading producer of oil over the five years, followed by Nigeria, Somalia and Chad. Furthermore, whereas the quantity of oil produced witnessed increases for Somalia and Chad, the opposite occurred for the Congo.
Congo’s oil production started at 275 000 barrels per day in 2000 and dropped every year since - it fell by 72 000 barrels to reach a rate of only 203 000 barrels a day by 2004. Chad, on the other hand, did not produce any oil in the first three years presented in the chart - it initially only produced 8000 barrels a day during 2003, but its oil production shot up to 50 000 by the next year. Somalia also experienced growth in its oil production during this period, but its increased output was more sustained and incremental: it started at 5000 barrels a day in 2000, which climbed to 21 000 in 2003 and finally 50 000 in 2004.
There is meanwhile, no obvious trend for Nigeria, as its oil output fluctuates during these years: it initially experienced declines from 2000 to 2002, from 205 000 to 190 000 barrels per day, to increase again to 213 000 barrels a day by 2004.
Đề bài: The table below compares actual and predicted figures for populations in three different cities.
The table showcases the actual population of three cities of Sao Paulo, Jakarta and Shanghai, compared to their predicted population from the years 1990 to 2000. Overall, although the population of most of these cities did in fact increase over the decade, the actual number of people in 2000 was lower for all countries compared to the predictions.
In 1990, the population of Sao Paulo was the highest of the three, at 15 million people. Whereas this was predicted to rise to 24 million by 2000, the actual rise was much more incremental, as the city’s population was only 18 million by that year. Jakarta, meanwhile, was the least populated city in 1990, with 9.5 million people, which proliferated to 11.5 million by 2000. Again, this was lower than the projected 14 million, this time by 2.5 million.
Lastly, Shanghai was the only of the three cities to experience a reduced population, falling from 13.5 million people to 12.5 million in 2000. This trend of course was the opposite of what was forecasted, which predicted that the city’s population was going to rise to 17 million by the end of the century.
Đề bài: The table below shows the salaries of secondary/high school teachers in 2009. Describe the main features of the figure.
Bài viết tham khảo:
The table compares the information about the pay scale of secondary and high school teachers from various countries in 2009.
Overall, teachers from Luxembourg had both the highest starting and maximum salary. Another interesting feature is that teachers in Luxembourg, Japan and Korea worked for more than 30 years to achieve the top salary whereas their counterparts in Australia, Denmark and only took less than 10 years.
As can be seen from the table, secondary/ high school teachers in Luxembourg were offered 80000 dollars as their starting salary, compared to only 28000 in Australia. Denmark lagged behind Luxembourg with 45000, which was still significantly higher than the statistics of Japan and Korea, with 34000 and 30000 respectively.
After 15 years of career, Luxembourg topped the table with their teachers being paid 119000, and up to 132000 within 30 years. Japan came next, where teachers’ salary nearly doubled in 15 years and reached 86000 in 37 years. What stands out from the data is that Korean teachers were not paid as much as the other nations’, with 48000 for 15 years. Working for 34 years, they had their pay rate more than doubled with 62000. There was also a significant increase in the figures of Australia and Denmark with 48 and 54 thousand respectively for 15 years. Also, teachers in these two nations needed only around 9 years to reach their highest pay, which is substantially small compared to the other remaining three countries.
Đề bài: The table below illustrates how much money a single person and a couple in Australia need for a comfortable lifestyle after they retire.
Bài viết tham khảo:
The table depicts the amount of money necessary for leading a comfortable lifestyle after retirement between a single person and a couple in Australia.
A glance at the table reveals that a retired person tends to spend more on housing, whereas a couple prioritizes their leisure needs. It is also evident that enjoying retirement as a couple would be more cost-effective than doing it alone.
Regarding housing, living as a couple helps them save more money than those who live by themselves, $194 in comparison to $184. The same picture can be observed in health and transport as a retired couple only allocates $177 to the former, in comparison to $122 for one person, and $108 to the latter, a mere $1 higher than a retired single person. Moreover, couples in their retirement age are more likely to invest money the most in serving their leisure activities with $202, $62 higher than single people.
On the other hand, leading a comfortable life with a partner does not necessarily help to save money when it comes to clothing, food and other necessities, since a couple expends mostly double the amount of money a single person does, $80 as opposed to $44, $100 compared to $50 and $70 versus $37, respectively.
Đề bài: The table below shows information and predictions regarding the change in percentage of population aged 65 and above in three countries.
Bài viết tham khảo:
The table details the percentage of senior demographics and its predicted figures in three countries namely Canada, Germany and the UK between 1988 and 2030.
Looking at the graph at a general level, Germany had and will have the highest rate of people aged 65 or older, whereas the reverse trend is true for the UK. Another interesting point is that the overall shares of senior residents keeps rising over the given period.
From 1988 to 2000, the elderly aged 65 or above constituted one-fifth of the population in Germany, as opposed to 16% and 14% of these people in Canada and the UK respectively. The figures for Canada and Germany went up by 5% to 16% for the former and 25% for the latter. The UK witnessed a less pronounced change with only a negligible 1% increase.
In 2030, the proportions of 65-year-old people and the older in three different nations are predicted to enjoy upswings, going up by 5%, representing 26% in Canada, 30% in Germany and 20% in the UK.

Bài viết tham khảo:
The table gives information on the amount of money a public place - Harckley Hall - generated and spent in a period of three years.
Overall, Harckley Hall s income came mostly from leasing rooms and fundings and this increased minimally over the years. Despite this, the Hall’s profit decreased throughout the period as its expenditure rose substantially.
Regarding the sources of income, hiring rooms generated the most revenue for Harckley Hall, which was £34,000 in Year 1. This grew to £35,000 in the next year but then saw a plunge of £32,000 in Year 3. The next significant income source was funding from the local council at roughly £22,000 per year but this was less than the combined subsidies from other sources, which stood at £27,000 in the final year, after a jump of around £2,000 from the previous years. The most insignificant contribution came from the cafe, whose income was £4,000 after experiencing slight fluctuations.
