PART 1
Mẫu câu hỏi và câu trả lời:
- How do you plan your time in a day?
I don’t think my time management method is anything out of this world. I usually spend a good 15 minutes every evening, typically right before bed, on listing out the tasks I must perform the next day. This is a habit which I have picked up over the years, and I think it’s a simple yet wonderful practice because it really gives me peace of mind and a sense of control, which also increases my sleep quality.
- How do you like spending time with your friends?
Normally after a long strenuous workweek, simply a get-together at the coffee shop or sometimes a hop to a nearby retreat would sufficiently energise us.
- What did you enjoy doing in your free time as a child?
Well, if I remember correctly, I used to spend a lot of time playing with other kids in my neighborhood. We usually did some role-play or got involved in some kind of play fight with each other. It was such a good time for me.

One of the most exciting and memorable occasions was my graduation from university. I was celebrating the end of my student life with classmates, friends, and family.
In China, as you may know, education matters a lot. It is a very stressful and labor-intensive experience and parents are anxious to see their child certified with high honors as such, getting your diploma is quite a big deal in China, both for parents and graduates.
While I attended university, I lived in the dormitory but this day I stayed with my parents who lived in the suburbs. I was comfortable being at their home and away from the dorm and especially away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I was looking forward to all the activities planned for me on this special day.
We drove to the University for the Graduation Ceremony and speeches. The auditorium was full with the graduates in front and the friends and family sitting towards the back. The commencement speech was delivered by the Dean which was long but very inspiring.
Next up was dinner at a buffet restaurant where there was a huge variety of dishes and desserts. I stuffed myself with my favorite foods.
I went back to my dormitory to change into casual clothes, before going to the after-grad party. At the party, we talked about our futures. Some graduates had job prospects and some were returning to school to further their education. All in all it was an exciting but very exhausting day.

PART 3
Mẫu câu hỏi và câu trả lời:
- Do people like to spend their leisure time out in your country?
I think it’s a matter of personal preference, a lot of people would definitely opt for outdoor activities as their recreational pursuits. But at the same time, many would prefer to stay inside to avoid the dirt and dust. Also, the weather would be a significant contributor to people’s choice of pastimes. If it rains too heavily or the sunlight is too glaring then a lot of folks would definitely not go outside.
- How can people balance life and work?
Well, a healthy work/life balance is of paramount importance and it’s possible to achieve that. Firstly, people should limit working overtime or bring work home. They should sharpen their skills and stay focused at work so that they can meet their deadlines without having to sacrifice their family time for work. Secondly, it’s crucial for them to have leisure pursuits like cycling, jogging, reading, or gardening. These recreational activities help relieve work-related stress and boost their physical and mental well-being.
- Are you good at managing your time?
Actually I’d say I’m not very good! I don’t really have a system in place to organize things. I know some people have an electronic organizer or use some device to plan what they are doing but I don’t do that. But I always make sure I am on time for appointments and things like that, and I meet dealines and get things done.

To be honest, I don’t take a keen interest in history. I think most of the historical knowledge just go over my head, and I think I’m more of an art person.
- Do you think history is important?
Yes, I think history is very important. We can learn a lot from history. We come to know about the way of life, culture and traditions of the past times. We can come to know about the important historical events that paved way for progress and development, like the Industrial revolution. We can get motivation by learning about the achievements of some people and we can also learn from the mistakes of our ancestors.
- What historical event do you find interesting?
Well, I think this question is really putting me on the spot because my recollections about historical events are pretty hazy. Having said that I think the first event that spring to mind is probably Independence Day, which is the biggest milestone in Vietnamese history. Because it marks the day when Vietnam has become a sovereign state. I mean Vietnam is totally free from French colonization.

Mẫu câu trả lời:
Question: Describe a piece of technology that you find useful.
You should say:
- When it happened
- What happened
- Who the most important people involved were
- And say why it is important to the history of your country
To be completely honest with you, history has never been my cup of tea. Partly because back when I was in high school, my history classes were dead boring. However, there was one historical event that left a lasting impression on me. That was the Reunification Day, which took place on April 30th 1975.
After North Vietnamese forces successfully overran numerous provinces in Central Highland and near Saigon, the Politburo in Hanoi issued an order to launch the final attack on Saigon called the “Ho Chi Minh Campaign,” By April 27, the North Vietnamese troops, under the command of General Van Tien Dung, seized the key facilities and strategic points around Saigon. They advanced into downtown Saigon at dawn on April 30 and met little resistance. About noon, a column of tanks of the North Vietnamese army crashed through the gate of the Presidential Palace, forcing Saigon government to surrender unconditionally. At half past eleven, Vietnam’s flag was raised over the Presidential Palace, marking the victory of the historic “Ho Chi Minh campaign”
This event is considered a significant milestone in Vietnamese history because it marked the end of the Vietnam War, which lasted over 2 decades and claimed millions of Vietnamese lives. Another reason is that North and South Vietnam, after many years of separation, were formally unified as the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. From then on, April 30 is celebrated as a national holiday in Vietnam and public celebrations are held annually to commemorate the reunification between the two regions as well as to pay a tribute to brave soldiers who sacrificed during the war

PART 3
Mẫu câu hỏi và câu trả lời:
- How is history taught in Vietnam?
During all my years at school, my history teachers’ job was to read the whole text out loud and make sure that their students write everything down in their notebook. It’s really boring and tiresome!
- Do you think history matters in a country’s future development?
I really think so. Specifically, I always believe that learning from the past’s mistakes is one of the best ways to build a better future. For instance, with the help of history, we understand that education has always been the key to every possibility. A country with low cultural standards never stands a chance in the competition. In order to establish solid growth for the nation, in every aspect including the economy, governments ought to provide citizens with every opportunity to learn and develop.
- How to learn history?
There are many ways to learn history effectively, you know, from traditional methods, and acquiring knowledge from our history teachers in class, to more interactive approaches with the use of audiovisual aids for the classroom. In my view, it’s a lot better if students can absorb the information by watching something and having a chance to discuss it. By this I mean students should be allowed to watch documentaries about historical events besides learning from their textbooks, and then they can work in pairs or small groups and talk about the things they’ve learned from the films. I believe such a way can not only promote students’ autonomy and thinking abilities, but also deepen their understanding of the past.
