The last big party I went to was Emma’s birthday party. I’m an engineer and Emma’s a colleague at the company where I work. It was a great party and there were lots of interesting people there. For example, I met a guy called James, and we’re now quite good friends. James is Emma’s brother. He was a student at the time but now he’s looking for work. Another thing that I remember is that I was really hungry! There were lots of drinks but there’s wasn’t very much food. There were a few sandwiches in the kitchen, but they really weren’t very nice!
