Cách viết một đoạn mô tả nội dung tranh

Mô tả một bức tranh là yêu cầu thường thấy trong một số bài kiểm tra kỹ năng nói, viết tiếng Anh. Bài viết sau giới thiệu những cụm từ, mẫu câu thông dụng để giải quyết dạng bài này.

1. Bạn thấy gì trong tranh?

Bạn cần nêu rõ các đối tượng của bức tranh mà bạn muốn diễn tả, bao gồm không gian, bối cảnh và từng đối tượng có trong tranh (có thể là người, động vật hay tĩnh vật). Bạn hãy miêu tả một cách thứ tự: có thể theo trái/phải, nền của bức tranh tỷ mỉ (Describe the right/ left side and background of the picture in detail)

Bạn có thể sử dụng cấu trúc:

  • There is + some body or some thing main focus : miêu tả người hoặc vật.
  • I can see + clause : miêu tả hình ảnh đầu tiên nhìn thấy
  • What I can see first in the picture is + hình ảnh đầu tiên nhìn thấy

Các cụm từ để chỉ vị trí khi miêu tả tranh bằng tiếng Anh:

cảm xúc mang luôn mang tính tương đối, không nên sử dụng những câu như: It is very interesting. Mà chúng ta nên sử dụng những động từ mang tính đoán, tương đối, khách quan.

This picture is an advertisement. It's the first Apple Logo. It was designed in 1976 by Ronald Wayne - the third co-founder of Apple along with Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. The scene takes place in the country. In the foreground there is an apple tree. Its curved trunk is on the left side of the picture. The branches are on the top. An apple, surrounded by a halo, is hanging from a branch. This tree spreads over a man. This man, who is wearing a wig, is sitting on the ground. He is leaning against the trunk of the tree. He is concentrating on a book he is holding in his hands. The apple is just above his head. A sentence on the outside border says: Newton... A Mind Forever Voyaging Through Strange Seas of Thought... Alone. Nobody exactly knows why Steve Jobs chose  'Apple' to name his corporation, but it's obvious that R. Wayne associated this name with Newton. There is a popular story that Newton was sitting under an apple tree, an apple fell on his head, and he suddenly thought of the Universal Law of Gravitation. Newton himself often said that the fall of an apple had helped him to discover gravity. Maybe, when he designed this logo Wayne thought: just as an apple inspired Newton, so the name 'Apple' will inspire S. Jobs. And we know what happened next: Macintosh, iMac, iPod, iPhone. A good logo must be simple in form and convey a clear message. That's why I find this one a bit too complicated and too intellectual. In fact it lasted only one year. It was soon replaced by the 'Rainbow Logo'.
